AEROSMITH Frotman Serenades Young Fan At MARSHFIELD FAIR
August 22, 2005According to the Boston Herald, AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler serenaded a young fan with a chorus of "There she is, Miss America" at the Marshfield Fair Saturday night (Aug. 20),then returned to the fairgrounds to play some games with his own kids Sunday.
As previously reported, Tyler lent his vocals to the track "I Want to Take You Higher" on the upcoming SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE tribute album, "Different Strokes By Different Folks", due on September 27 via Epic/Legacy. According to an official press release, the album includes "one-of-a-kind collaborations from John Legend & Joss Stone w/ Van Hunt; Buddy Guy & John Mayer; Steven Tyler (AEROSMITH) w/ Robert Randolph; Chuck D (PUBLIC ENEMY),D'Angelo & Isaac Hayes; and Big Boi (OUTKAST) feat. Sleepy Brown & Killer Mike alongside songs by chart-toppers Janet Jackson, MAROON 5, will.i.am (THE BLACK EYED PEAS),THE ROOTS, Moby, Devin Lima (LFO) and more." Producers include Randy Jackson, Nile Rogers and Steve Jordan.
